God On A Wing

I stared with a multitude of thoughts as company.
What to do, when to do it, yesterday, tomorrow, in 5 minutes time.
A Wren popped by for company, it’s blueness brilliant in the morning light.
It hopped here, darted there.
Busy in its present moment Wren-ness
It came by to guide me into Being.
Not then, not when but now.
I could have thought ‘cute’ and let the moment cheer me momentarily.
It was more than that.
It was life, nature, God, the answer.
I increasingly realise this. Not separate but connected.
Just as important, more divine than sweet.
God on a wing.
