Gratitude

When you give thanks today keep it simple. Keep it simple by giving thanks to everything you sense in the present moment - your breath (I give thanks to my breath), your heart beat, the sun warming your face, the breeze on your arm, the things you can see in your immediate surrounds, the feel of your feet in your shoes or against the ground, the sensation of your back against the chair, the noises in your stomach, the bird that just flew by, the sound of the dog barking nearby, that thought that just popped into your head, being alive.

The list is endless when you focus on the present moment. When you do it this way you don't have to stress about all the things you may have left off your list. You are simply giving thanks to now and now is all we have. It's bigger than we think. It is who we are.
